Pink Blast From The Past

I saw this picture the other day
Oh my that looks very familiar!?

My hair dryer from my childhood.
Yes I kept it.
It's pink and all still there
In the original case
It still works
but I do not think I ever cooked with it
while it was on my head
nor will I ever!

Scream!!! I remember that...but mine was blue! I don't have it anymore. Used it over my huge juice cans to try to get my curly hair to be straight! Happy VTT!

Oh my lord! I used to have one just like it when I was a kid and got it for C'mas...way back then!! How wonderful that you kept it, my mom used to give everything away when we moved out. Thank you for your sweet visit. Lots of hugs,

You woke up some long ago memories. I would hate to have to use that now.

Oh my progress is amazing! Grama had one but she sat with her back up to the kitchen table and read a magazine, no cooking.

And hanging from her hip! Too funny :)

That is just hilarious! Looks like that woman is the original multi tasker:) I've never seen a dryer that you fasten to your waist! Bet my mom still has her hood dryer!

I had a similar one, although I don't think it hooked to my belt!! And it took me FOUR hours to dry my long hair!! Really neat that you kept yours!

Ours was cream color. Rollers, heat, sleeping in rollers, brings it all back. Yikes. We are so lucky now, towel dry and short haircut works well for me.

How fun is that that you still have that dryer. It is adorable! I actually think those work better on roller Styles!

OMG! I can't believe you still have one of these! But of course you do! I remember that you commented on my daffodil silver. I'm sure that I saw it for the first time on your blog, and I knew I would HAVE to find some someday! Hope you're good!

Oh, now I've got to go out to the barn and check out my own old hairdryer! The case looks just like that, but I'm not sure if I've ever taken it out... I brought it home after Grandma's estate sale. Because it was hers and it was old, and that's been reason enough to hang onto it for the past seventeen years or so.

OMG! Are we all the same vintage! That was the one we used back, well, way back then! I have since found one for my girls to use. There is something about that warm feeling after a wonderful hot shower or bath. I never could get myself to use it with the belt attachment, though. And COOK with it on? Maybe just do my nails! Thanks for the memories!
