Pink McCoy Hyacinth Vase

One of my favorite things I found years ago when cleaning out my Grandparent's house was this!

I collect McCoy pottery and love the Hyacinth one! They made several with Tulips and I also have one that is a Chrysanthemum. But I love it because if belonged to Grandma.

McCoy stamp on the bottom.

Don't you just love Pink Saturdays! Mine will be spent at 1515 for a cousins weekend if the snow stays away!

McCoy is such a wonderful maker of fun pieces. They just put a smile on your face! Love this one. I have sold a tulip one years ago for a dealer.
There was a man named Glen, I think, in Ashmore who used to collect tons of pottery. McCoy was one of his favorites, but I saw where he died several years ago.
Did you know him?

Happy PS!

I have a friend who collected McCoy cookie jars and they were very lovely. Your vase has the memories too and that makes it even more special.

I just sold 2 McCoy pieces in my shop today, actually a little sad to have sold one of them. Oh well that is what a shop owner does. I have never seen that planter before, I would not part with it. Thank you for sharing. It was so nice to meet you.

My mother had some of this McCoy. I wish I had had sense enough to keep it. This is a very piece.

Hi Anne Sweetie...
Oh my what a beautiful share. I love, love this McCoy pottery piece. Hyacinths are one of my favorites. This one is exquisite and appears to be in such wonderful shape. How lovely to have a piece that makes you smile, and knowing that it made your sweet Grandma smile as well.

I hope that you and the family are doing well. That everything is starting to feel like home in your new abode and that you have finally find yourself there. It is hard at first to get everything just like we want, but it is all yours. Isn't that the best part of all?

Have a glorious Sunday sweetie. I so enjoyed my visit today at A Sentimental Life. You always make my heart "Happy". Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
