Pink Kitty Cat Tea

After my Grandmother died, my Grandfather would go shopping with my Mom to get out. They had fun Christmas shopping or buying birthday presents for myself, my brother and our spouses. Pa, as I called him always wanted to get me something nice to keep. Here are some I received one year for my birthday. They are actually Hallmark items.

Pink Cat tea cup, teapot and potpourri jar filled with lavender from my yard.

Sweet Cat faces all the way around the top.
Isn't he cute

I have all these things in my curio cabinet and so appreciative that Pa gave them to me on my birthday.

Happy Pink Saturday Ann Sweetie...
Oh what treasures of love from your precious PA. I keep the things in my china cabinet from my Daddy and Momma. They always make me smile, and sometimes I just give them a call, as it makes me think of them. I am grateful to still have my parents, my grands have been gone for over 35 years, and I never got a thing when they passed away. Everything was auctioned off because they did not have a will. It was horrible, and I think of so many little what knots that my grand mother had. Oh how sad it makes me. Truly sad.

Yours are in mint condition, and I know they make your heart "HAPPY" when you see them. That is what is most important. A memory from your sweet PA. I love it.

Hope you have a wonderful weekend sweetie. Many thanks again for sharing. I so enjoyed my visit this evening. Many hugs and much love, Sherry

Oh my Goodness what a beautiful pink teacup. I'm going to send this link to my girlfriend. She is such a cat lover. She needs a little lift in her spirits too, I think this will just do the trick.

Thank you so much for sharing such a lovely Pink Saturday post. Just beautiful

Ann....Thanks for the visit. My grandmother’s death and the death of the little Roger were devastating to my father and my aunt. Luckily I do have some precious photos of her. I love the little items from Hallmark. Over the years, I have bought some wonderful collectables when they have gone on sale. The potpourri china piece is sweet, too.

These are pretty and look old! The power trucks were just regrouping -we may not have power until early next week. Makes us feel like we are living when the house was built in the 1800's!
