Vintage Gifts

I guess my family and friends know I love old things.
Several of my Christmas gifts were vintage things this year, and last
week I showed you the beautiful silver piece my SIL gave me.

Today I want to show you what my cousin gave me!

A little red step ladder and and a yellow rooster to boot!
It looks good in the kitchen at 1515, although for looks only...it is a little
wobbly.

The rooster planter matches the ones she got me last year
along with the one I found that reside in the kitchen window.

Great red color and just the right amount of wear

When I was at 1515 my friend that I go to the auction with
had a surprise for me!
She got this at the auction for me so I don't have to haul my
kitchen aide mixer back and forth at Christmas!
Wasn't it nice of her.

The weekend ended on a bitter note...........a water line break at
1515. It is right by the meter, I wonder how much this is going to
cost......say a prayer for me that it is not too bad :(

Ann, I love them both, but I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the red ladder! And goodness, what a good buddy to come up with a mixer like that. After using my new one a few times, I don't know how I have survived without it all this time.

Christmas was good, wasn't it? I love the rooster. I have chickens in my kitchen. Frozen pipes are a horror. I do hope that not much damage was done. Thank you for kind note on my cousin. Stay warm.

what wonderful gifts!! Sorry about your water problems. Hope they get it fixed really fast!

I'd say just make an educated guess as to how many things were in the boxes you just dropped off at the donation center, and go from there. :-)

Great vintage gifts and you are displaying them very well. Any utility work is costly.

Oh no... I hope the leak is not too bad. I hate when things like that happen. Love the gifts-your 1515 is soooo adorable!

Love the ladder, I have an old vintage green one at the ranch. So sorry to hear about the water line. And really, you were transporting your Kitchen Aid mixer back and forth? Wow, you are dedicated. I just have a hand mixer at the ranch.
