Happy Pink Saturday!
Here are a couple of Pink qulit pieces made by my Great Grandmother. They are in my Mom's doll buggy with her dolls, but I will save that for another post.
This piece may of been a pillow cover. After I moved away from home my Mom moved into my Pink bedroom at home. She took this piece and put the hoops on it and she had it hanging in her bedroom.
It looks like a Holly Hobbie pattern, but was made in the 1920's.
I guess I need to hang it up myself to display it.
The other is a baby quilt. I need to check my Mom's baby book, but I am sure one of her Grandmother's made it for her.
It is pink and white checked
love the scalloped edges.
I guess I better figure out which Great Grandmother made it?

I love the pink quilts. Love pink anyway, especially the Sunbonnet Sue.
What sweet little quilts-and of course-I love the history!!!!
How wonderful to have these family quilts. Very pretty too!
Hi Ann! These are such sweet mementos from your past. That bonnet girl is so iconic. And I love that darling quilt faded to the perfect vintage pink. Have a great weekend!
I love them and am amazed by the perfection of the hand stitching! Good grief. I can't stitch that even with a machine.
I popped over from Pink Saturday. I really liked this!
What a precious post and the bonnet girl is so sweet! Loved all your pinks. Thanks for visiting and leaving your lovely comment. Happy Pink Saturday weekend.
Blessings,
Sandi
Both of these are so sweet! Happy PS!
Vintage quilts are the best. Lucky that you have some that have been passed down from your grandmother. Happy PS!
They are beautiful! I love that pink and white baby quilt. Everytime I see your header I just enjoy your garden so much! Your hostas and impatiens and the watering cans and old window and window box...it's all so pretty!

What gorgeous quilts Ann, how lovely to have such wonderful family things to treasure.
Pleased you like the bay trees, a birthday treat last year. I nearly got another 'face' today, but resisted the urge! The little birds are growing apace, and so far Sid has been persuaded to leave them alone!
Hope Sunday is a great day.

Ann,
Thanks for your sweet comment and visit On Crooked Creek! Your pink quilts are just beautiful. Could this be the Sunbonnet Sue pattern that I hear about so frequently? Stop by again soon, dear.

Quilts are such treasures! I need to figure out which great grandmother made mine, too!
Hey Ann-thanks for the invite. I start my vacation on the 12th and will be camping with family that weekend. I'll be sure to check it out though!
How pretty they are! I love pink!
I was wondering what colors to use in my next quilt and after seeing these pretty pieces, I think it will be pink and white.

Happy belated Pink Saturday,

Sunbonnet Sue is one of my favorite quilt patterns. I found several blocks at a sale, many many years ago and framed a couple of them.
Yours is especially beautiful, Ann. Sweet memories!
