I have been waiting to show this on Pink Saturday!
Something special from my childhood and teenage days.
Something I could not throw away.......
What is in there you ask?
It is my Pink GE Hairdryer that still works!
My Mom even has a new bonnet for it! Where on earth did she find that I wonder?
What speed would you like? I forgot it was the "deluxe" model!
I hope you enjoyed seeing my pink hairdryer. I can not ever remember not having it. When I cleaned out my Mom's house I did not have the heart to throw it our and I am glad I didn't. Brings back memories of washing my hair in the kitchen sink and then putting my hair up in the bonnet for my hair to dry. Yes, it was before there were blow dryers!

Oh Ann-how fun is that!! You always have the most SENTIMENTAL wonderful items!
Love it! I have a vintage bonnet drier also but my hair is too long to use it. I just can't throw it out. HPS!
Oh, I remember my mom having one of those when I was growing up. I'm sure she's long ago thrown it out.
This post is certainly a trip down memory lane.
Happy Pink Saturday,
Patti
Ours was a blue/green color! My mom hated pink.
The kids at school called me witchy poo because my hair would fluff up so big. We used to sit in front of the tv with it on. That's where I learned to read lips!
LOL
I remember when I was a little girl every once in a while drying my hair on Saturday night with one my Meme had...that brings back great memories.
Oh what memories!!! We had one too and have seen one in decades so to see these pictures makes me feel like it was just yesterday!! Thanks for the walk down memory lane :) Love it!!
Ours was blue, ohhhh this brings back memories! Had to chuckle, us 4 girls 'fighting' over who would get to use it.
Happy PS weekend ~

Very neat! Thanks for sharing!
Oh my gosh, I remember these. Cannot remember ever using one, but I remember them. No way would I throw it away. I would have it displayed somewhere. Hope you are staying cool and taking good care of yourself.
Love the pink hair dryer. So cute. Thank's also for the cute shop name, Thrill of the Hunt. I may steal it some day. Richard from My Old Historic House.
Happy Pink Saturday Ann Sweetie...
I love, LOVE this share. Oh how delightful that your precious Momma kept it after all these years. A true find for you. Your Momma had memories of it, or she wouldn't have kept it.
I had a blue one. I would wash my hair, roll it in curlers and hook up the heat. I can remember my ears getting very hot from the heat within the bonnet.
Thanks for the beautiful memory. Many hugs sweetie and so much love from Phoenix, Sherry
I remember those!
I hope you're having a great weekend!
AAhhaaaa! we had a pink one too!!! The bonnet just barely fit over my HUGE pink rollers!
I'm surprised Rebecca doesn't have one of these.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend.

Oh my goodness, this reminds me of the one my sister had! It even had a spot to dry your nail polish on the top, if I remember correctly. Love this!
