Pink Saturday Baby Book

With Mother's Day approaching, I am missing my Mom as many of you are. Her love was so unconditional and she loved me with every fiber of her being. So today how about a tour of my Pink baby book!

My dear Aunt Catherine gave this to my me when I was born. My brother has one just like it in blue.

It even has my name engraved on the front.

I love the graphics and they are in pink!

My mother pain stakingly filled it out, the last entry is when I was 8!
Hard to believe I had black shoulder length hair when I was born, which turned to a blonde which is the other strand of hair....from when I had my hair cut at 4.

all my heights and weights

all the important milestones

a list of all my Christmas adventures and presents, and yes the ones listed from my previous post are on there!

Birthday's spent with Grandparents

with 2 children, I am surprised she filled it out as much as she did, and especially since I am the baby

I also can tell you when I had all my shots, broke my arm or had the chicken pox!

I hope you enjoyed looking at my Pink Baby Book!
Thanks Mom for all your hard work to fill it out.  I like to sit in read it, knowing it was written by you with love....and a little tear in my eye.

How wonderful that you have this book! I don't even know if my Mom did one of these for me. I'll have to ask her. Your Mom really put alot of love and effort into this book, and I can only imagine how much you treasure it!

Don't know if I'm more jealous of how durn cute that is or that your mom made and kept such a nice baby book! (Baby of family here, there are 90 seconds of infant me in one home movie, and a couple photos then I don't show up again until school pics!) Precious memory and keepsake.

How precious and what an original idea for a post! I need to catch up on my kids' books. I've got number 8 on the way and this is my third year in a row for a baby so... I've not kept up very good in the books! But...I do write everything down on the calendar and keep those so I can go back and fill in stuff in the books when I have the chance! :) They're so special to look at as adults...I have the one my mom made out for me and she was like your mom---wrote out every special detail! I hope I can do that for each of mine too!

I was born 13 years before you, lol, and I have one too. I always looked at it, showed my children when it was at mom's house, but now I have it with me since mom passed away 2 yrs ago. Funny thing is, I was actually looking at it this week, thinking of mom. I love that you shared this with us. Yes, you mom did put a lot of love and time into adding all the milestones in your life. I also did one for each of my three children. I have given them to my daughters for their children. Happy Mother's Day.

Happy Pink Saturday Anne Sweetie...
What a gorgeous share today. I love your little book of pink. I especially love the little notes inside. So precious.

I have to tell you they look almost like mine as well. I was born in 1957 and I have the almost identical birth tag in mine. They are priceless.

Thank you so much for sharing yours with me today. It was like going down Memory Lane. I loved it.

Have a wonderful Pink Saturday sweetie, and a glorious Mother's Day as well.

Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry
