Scenes From the Garden

Saturday Morning in the Garden

Nikko Blue Hydrangea

Garden Cottage

Annabelle Hydrangea

Picasso Petunia

Lily is blooming

My knockout rose can not decided what color it wants to be
blooming 2 colors on one bloom?

Dahlia ready to bloom
it came back from last year
OK, I need to weed :(

neighbor's hydrangea and garden
they got new siding and after 18 years of looking a gray home,
I can not adjust to the yellow?

And my Robin's are all gone.
I so enjoyed them while I was on vacation
I happen to see the last 2 leave the nest
I documented the last one leaving as I watched
the angel is telling him to fly

Mama says "come on"

he jumped out of the nest "I can fly, I can do it!"

so he hopped
and hopped
and he looked back........one more time
Goodbye sweet baby, I will miss you

Hope your weekend is a great one
and Happy Fathers day to all
I miss mine so
So glad I knew what is was like to be loved beyond measurement.
The look on his face says it all as he looked at my brother and I.

Ann, thank you for sharing your beautiful garden! My neighbor has a yellow house and I love looking at it. It makes me feel like I'm on vacation in Florida or on an island. When I read you farewell from your baby robin, I had to fight back a tear. But then I saw love in the face of your father. Wonderful post!

Hugs,
Lottie

Hi Ann,
Your flowers are all so pretty. I like your house yellow, it's nice. What a sweet goodbye to the little baby robin! Love the photo of the baby with the angel and your comment on telling it to fly. Sweet.
Happy Sunday,
Gina

What wonderful blooms Ann, wish I could sit a while with you there and enjoy a good old chin-wag.
I find it hard sometimes to adjust to the 'new', especially when it's not of my own making. Try to think of it as a sunbeam playing on the building :o)
Enjoy your day.

What a treat it must have been to watch your baby bird leave the nest! How adorable! I'm envious over your gorgeous hydrangeas, wish I had better luck with them!

Love all of your garden photos, Ann.
Our Robins just left this past week also. It was the second clutch to leave the nest.
What a sweet memory that picture must hold for you of your family with your dad.

Love your hydrangeas. Our hinky weather early this Spring caused ours to bloom in April or May only to be taken down by frosts and strong winds. The only flowers I have blooming right now are nasturtiums in a pot on the porch, but I enjoy those all the same.

You have a lovely garden!
