A New Camera!!

I finally broke down and got a new camera.

You see I was using a camera I bought at Walmart
one weekend when my other Kodak would not work.
I have put up for over a year with using a toothpick
to hold the battery in place and it never
would auto focus to take close up pictures.
Which aggravated me to take pictures of
flowers or the marking on a piece of china.

I loved my 33 mm Cannon my Grandfather
bought me years ago.
It was my camera I took all over Europe
year after year so.......
Just a simple little Cannon, something I could afford
 but I am already
VERY happy with it.

close up and great color

lilac
allysums

my Mom's Iris is blooming

Now I tried the zoom

Oh my Dahlia's came back
hard to believe I am standing up, not even bent over
and took this picture

stood at the middle of the driveway and took this of my
gate, about 30 feet away

across the street at my neighbor's azalea

My neighbors wisteria
2 doors down
Have I bored you?

yes, nest in my wreath

Now inside
yes now you can see the makers mark
oops I need to clean my silver!

So I am very pleased
It is not the Cannon Rebel
but for me, it will do fine!

Your photos are wonderful! You just can't beat a Canon. I love mine. My first one was like yours, but I wanted more zoom and I got this one when the other one went down. Yours is the best point and click right out of the camera one. I hope you enjoy it and you better clean my silver ware there, be careful- you will see all the dust with that camera! LOL

It is wonderful. I think my iPhone is about as good as my Rebel sometimes and these large DSRL's will not be necessary soon. Plus they are heavy and hurt my joints. Your pansy's look great Ann with that Cannon Ann.

I loved seeing all of your pictures. You are getting some really amazing shots and great color with your new camera. When my daughter gave me her old camera, I found myself taking pictures of everything under the sun, just to see what different shots I could do well with the new (to me) camera.
