If your like me there is alot to do today!
We are having my brother and sister in law for Christmas Eve tomorrow.
That means I have to wrap the presents, clean the house
and start cooking.
I must get the dining room table looking like this
It is only Christmas if I get to spend it with my brother.
We still exchange gifts like we did when my Mother
was alive, in other words we will be unwrapping
for a couple of hours! And the house will look
like a disaster.
Here we are in 1961
Do you notice my jumper?
yep, there it is on the right, sitting on a stool in the pink bedroom
at 1515. The other is a top that was in a picture that was
taken at 1515 in 1962 with me on my Grandad's lap.
So I better get cracking and get out to the kitchen
Have a wonderful day!
Merry Christmas Ann,
What a joy to still have this time with your brother. I lost 3 of my 4 brothers and my only brother now lives in another state that is too far to drive to. I get to spend time with one of my two sisters though and I treasure each day. I love that you still have your jumper you wore so long ago! That is so neat! Enjoy your family and have a great time..Blessings...
Same here. Lots of cooking. You are so lucky, I think I have said before to you, to get spend Christmas with your brother. Mine is in Texas and it has been over 20 years that we have been together for the holidays. Your Christmas table will be festive and pretty. Merry Christmas, Ann.
Hi Ann! Oh, what a precious little snap of you and your brother and how special you two are still so close! Your little jumper is darling and what a treasure you can pass on to a grand one day!
I think I have the same tablecloth as yours just much smaller.
I hope you have a wonderful Christmas with your brother.
