The Love Story of Felicity and Frank

In honor of Don Featherstone, the creator of the Pink Flamingo's who died this week.

It all began on a quiet day in Charleston,
Frank and Felicity met and fell in love at the Will Rogers Theatre during a showing of Flamingo Road with Joan Crawford.

They were both students at the local University where they were soon to graduate.

They loved to go out to dinner at their favorite Pizza place

Felicity is from Charleston, so she showed Frank the sights
Felicity family participated in the Charleston Riot by flying messages between the Copperheads.

They laid a wreath at the Veterans monument to honor Frank's fallen friends. You see, Frank is a veteran and sustained a serious leg injury during the war. He is going to EIU on the GI bill.

The local hosptial where Felicity's Aunt Bessie who was a RN helped hatch many a chick.

As time passed they realized they were meant to be together. They started buying things to set up house, they went by the town motto " Shop Local".
Benedict's 5&10 where they were registered

Persimmon Lane for some vintage furniture.

The big day was finally here!

They got married at a former church, where they had the reception and honeymoon.

They decided they wanted to buy a house so they went to check at the local Insurance agent.

Frank always pays the bills on time.

They starting looking at houses..........

Felicity loved this house on a quiet cul-de-sac, but it was too expensive.

the next house.......
They thought...this is the one! Until a fox ran across the back deck!

The next house was had a wonderful pond, BUT....they decided their family would want to visit the pond to often.  So they moved on.

The next house was in town, had a beautiful yard but needed some updates.

But they decided, this is the one!!

They settled into life as a married couple and one night they decided to relive their college years!

They had a few too many cocktails and they decided to fly on down to the square for some fun!

Unfortunately their adventures causes them some difficulties. Felicity was able to run away, but poor Frank.......................................

Due to his war injury he was unable to get away, Felicity had to come get him.

So they decided it was a good idea to go home and relax. Frank is trying to make up with Felicity
