Remember those Milk Glass Vases?

Do you remember in the 1960's and 1970's, everytime you got a flower from the flower shop it came with a milk glass vase?
My friend who owns a antique store picked up a ton of them and was giving them away. So even though they are abundant, I thought why not. She gave me 5 and here is what I did with them.

In the kitchen window with my yellow chicken and hens.

Free things are so fun, and they bring back memories of forgotten days. When I broke my arm, when I had a birthday, when I sent my mom a flower as a child....
The flower shop at home would deliver the milk glass vase with one rose in it if that was what you ordered. Does this bring any memories back to you?

Love your little bud vases. We had a couple of these, but the ones we had the most of were the taller ones.
Hope you had a great day- ours was very nice until this afternoon. It's down to 46 now and the wind just howled earlier and was knocking things over everywhere.
I think it's calmer now, but I'm not sticking my head out at all!

Love those little milk glass vases especially when they have sunny tulips in them ;-)

I remember those too-but not from getting them-from so many at the thrift shops-they were everywhere-couldn't give them away. You don't see them much anymore-maybe they'll make a come back like the flower frogs did-who would have thought those would!

The yellow tulips in the milk glass look so pretty. They simply say Spring!

I still think not much is prettier than a red rose bud in a milk glass vase - - - well, unless it's 5 yellow tulips in 5 milk glass vases!

I love milk glass!! And think it's so pretty the way you have the vases lined up with one bloom apiece. :-)

Two great minds running on the same track today. When I was doing my milk glass post, I forgot about the little vases. I have many of them.
