15 years....really?

15 years ago today
Mr and I said
"I do"

actually it seems we have been married forever

I am so blessed to be a part of a
truly wonderful family.
We have had our lows and our highs in life
like everyone else.
We use to travel every year to
 Paris for our anniversary.
I miss those days....
It was the one time we could get
away and just be with each other.
I hope that someday we can go back.

Since today is
Vintage Thingie Thursday
this was our cake topper
I was going to use this
a piece of Limoges

But my Mom so kindly offered us
her cake topper.
What could of been better?
I wore my Mom's pearls my Dad gave her as
a wedding present. I had a piece of my Great Grandmother's
dress made into a hankie.
Just perfect for the Sentimental Girl.
1900 my Maternal Great Grandparents
wedding picture, the hankie was made
from the ruffle.

here is my Mom and Dad 1947
you can see the pearls and the cake topper!

When I look at those things it makes the memories
of my wedding day so much more special.

Happy Anniversary Sweetheart
I love you.

Happy Anniversary, sweetie! Hope you have many more. Love all the little vintage details you put into your wedding and how you kept your family with you for that day. Are you getting bad storms there? Just had 2 funnel clouds up by Mahomet, but nothing around here yet. Its getting very humid.

Happy Anniversary, Ann! The years sure fly by, don't they? I love how you wore your mom's pearls, used your parents cake topper, and had a hankie made from your grandma's wedding dress! Hope you make it to Paris again soon for a belated Anniversary celebration!
