Happy Pink Saturday!
As I awoke this morning, the sun is shining, the daffodils are blooming and the birds are singing.
I spent Thursday cleaning my Grandmothers china cabinet and putting in her pink apple blossom dishes to display.
The pattern in a Johnson Brothers, but I still do not know the actual name.
These are the dishes we so often ate off of for family dinners.
My Mom gave me the choice of which set of china I could have of my Grandmothers and I could not part with these, I love the pink blossoms.
The beautiful scalloped edges
If you drink all your tea or coffee there is a treat for you at the bottom of your cup, a little flower.
There is a place setting for 6, with bone dishes, a small pitcher, and serving bowls.
I imagine they were my Grandmothers first set when she got married in 1923.
I can never get a good picture of my dining room hutch, with sun or without, with or without the lights or flash on.
The Waterford is mine and a wedding present.
Grandmother's hutch is full of PINK!
Have a great Pink Saturday

These are unforgettably sweet! I'm glad you got 'em! They're perfect for spring and summer, and so Brambley Hedge! Sounds like you have the start of a great day!
Email a photo of the china to Replacements ( just google Replacements) they will identify it for you and let you know if they carry any of it. I use them to ID stuff I like and then buy it or save info to collect it at a later date. You are lucky to have such pretty pink china. Have a pink day!
They are so pretty - lovely!
