Easter Table Top

The dining room is ready for Easter

The dining room is ready for today the first day of Spring

Dining table centerpiece
bunnies galore

At the gate to welcome you

Vintage paper mache bunnies

The paper eggs were my Grandmothers I had never used before.

My Tetee daffodils in my glass and silver vase I purchased at the wonderful antique store of Richard from

I may not be visiting today and I did not visit anyone since Sunday morning.
After I did my post on Sunday I went down to start laundry and found my
beautiful Pinky in the basement. We are not sure what happened, he was only 10 and not ill.
But my heart is broken......I miss my Pinky Wink so.
He has always been a big part of my Pink Saturdays.
He has posed for some too at Easter.
So I will close with this before I start crying again.
Mr. is heart broken too.

I'm so very sorry about Pinky. You are right, it's just heartbreaking. Our pets actually become our children don't they? Your table is beautiful and whimsical.

I'm so sorry for your loss, Ann.
What a terrible shock. Gentle hugs being sent your way.
Your spring dining room is lovely. I love how you have your Easter decorations enclosed in that charming little gate.

Oh sweetie, I am so sorry about Pinky...its so hard giving them back to God, but when you don't expect it coming, it makes it harder, I think.
I know Pinky loved having you for a mommy and he is probably sitting in your grandma's lap right now. You know she will take good care of him until you get there. Grandmas are so good at spoiling our babies, aren't they? Hugs to you. I so know your pain.

Oh, Ann- I am so sorry about Pinky. My heart just breaks for you. About 3 years ago I took our little Mistycat in for a check up because I thought she wasn't acting herself and wasn't eating properly(she had just turned 11). The vet did a quick scan and there was a big tumor between her throat and stomach and he said that it was not "fixable" and it would be a blessing to put her down because she was already in pain when he touched her throat/chest. I bawled all the way home and for days afterwards. It is just so sad to lose a kitty-especially when you aren't expecting it at all.

Your table setting is just darling. I love all those vintage paper mache bunnies and the paper eggs, too. Everything looks beautiful. xo and blessings for your heavy heart- Diana

Oh my heart goes out to you. How sad to find Pinky like that. I guess in the end we just have to hold on to the good memories and be grateful we had that time to share with them.
I was admiring your cute tablescape so much. I used to have the tetee daffodils- they are so tiny! Love your vase from Richard's. Your vintage paper mache bunnies are so sweet and the fence is adorable. I have a fence with a similar look for my fairy garden but it's not vintage.
Take care and I hope your sadness eases. Hugs, Liz

Ann, I am so sorry about Pinky. You take all the time you need to grieve and your friends will be here for you, thinking of you and will be here when you feel ready to visit again. We all need time to grieve our losses in our own way. My prayers to you dear friend and your hubby. Your tablesetting is charming. Love the gate. Blessings.

So sad about Pinky. What does one say. We love our pets and we are never ready to give them up. I wonder what did happen? I hope she did not suffer.I do believe she is in Pet haven along with my Prissy and Missy. Love you and are thinking about you. PS. I love that pink fence.Richard from My Old Historic House.

You've done a great job creating the perfect Springtime centerpiece. Love it all.

It's never easy to lose a much loved pet like Pinky ... It's wonderful that you'd made him such a big part of your blog in the past, and can always have those memories. We'll miss him too.

Blessings!
