Constance Spry

My David Austin rose is full of blooms this year.

I wish that Constance Spry bloomed all year, but it only blooms in the spring

I had the trellis built so I could have a place to sit and be surronded by the
smell of the roses.

Sarah Bernhardt peony
along our driveway

And a Mama Robin update
she lets me get about 4 feet from her and seems to not be bothered by me
look someones eyes are open!
I have so enjoyed watching them on my front porch
Dad comes and bring worms, and with all the rain it has been a good buffet for them!

Happy Saturday
Stay safe, we had bad weather in St. Louis but no one was hurt.

Hi Ann! Thanks for visiting me and your sweet comments. I popped over to return the visit and I just LOVE your website! Beautiful photos, and a gorgeous wallpaper! The roses are gorgeous. I have roses but no David Austins, though I would love to add some to my gardens. My peonies haven't opened yet but will in the next week.

A few years ago I was working in Wisconsin and there was a robin's
nest right outside my door - I was lucky to be able to witness the whole process, from egg laying to fledging - it was amazing!

Thanks so much for joining in this week!

First of all, those roses are GORGEOUS. I can definitely see building a trellis to house them so you can sit under there and be surrounded by the beauty. I bet it smells divine, too.

And that robin family is precious.

Sheila

Some of my favorite flowers only bloom once a year. Maybe that's part of what makes them so special. Your roses are gorgeous!

I would like to sit and smell the roses, too. Your trellis is beautiful with the beautiful climber. I started a David Austin last year, hoping that it fills out as beautifully as yours. You will be taking time to smell the roses, won't you.

Hi Ann! What gorgeous roses :o)
They look beautiful blooming over and around your arbour, a tranquil place to sit.
The robin family look very healthy and happy. Ours have now flown the nest, such a joy to watch the parents building and feeding the little ones.
Hope you enjoy the rest of the weekend.

Sweet mama robin and babies! They do get used to you, we had a house wren build her nest & have babies on our front door overhang. So cute!
