It's a Miscelanous Kind of Day

I have a day off and I am so glad, after a 14 hour day yesterday
my legs are feeling it!
I ran over to see my Sister in law because she and my brother
have a new pup, a 5 yr old Chocolate Lab named Hershey...although it seems they keep calling him Buddy.

The sun is shining and with spring on my mind I did take a walk around the yard and the daffodils are up!
Since Christmas I have been moving things around from where I normally have them.

My husbands sister got me a lovely bath set for Christmas so....
Remember my silver tray I found with the "H" in the middle. It just went from the living room to the bathroom.

Sort of a theme? My Ballard Design shower curtain.

Then in the living room some movement too.

My heavy cast iron bird bath, holding my ceramic pears, normally on the sofa table is now on top of the secretary. I kind of like how the greens, yellow and golds from the picture blend in.

I usually put my forsythia in my Mom's Iris vase but for now it is my Waterford vase.
I just wanted to experience some spring to perk me up!

So what did you do today?

Back to work tomorrow for the rest of the week.
Have a wonderful day

Ann

You certainly deserved your day off Ann!
My bulbs are springing up too, but I'm ashamed to say there's still a bag ful that haven't made it into the borders yet :o( All being well I'll put them in sometime this week - tulips in June? LOL.
Love how you've utilised your silver tray, the pears look good in your bird bath, and I love the forsythia too - certainly very Spring like.

Your forsythia is beautiful and certainly reminds me to go cut some. I thrift shopped for hours and visited with our neighbors.

I love that tray. You really have some neat stuff!

We have an 11 year old chocolate lab. His name is Max, but I call him Buddy a lot too. :)

Enjoy your day.

Glad you had some time off Ann. Those are long hrs. OMG.
Really, your daffodils are up??? WOW. We had a very light dusting of snow tonight. Made everything pretty. Since all 7 dogs make the snow a little "yellow" if you know what I mean, the snow made everything look clean and fresh again, lol.
LOVE your sweet touches all over your home Ann.
Don't work too hard tomorrow if you can ; )
Love Claudie

I would love to spend the day tiding things up around here and freshening this up as you have, with such pretty results. What did I do today? An easy day at school. Tutored 3 students in the Writing Center, conferenced with students in my office, and went to a meeting.
