Nikko Blue?

Here is my Nikko Blue Hydrangea
instead of blue it rewards me with shades of pink, lavender, and blue

see all the different shades?

peeking through the fence

just love it

What is happening around the Sentimental home?

while sitting on the porch I noticed an excited Morning Dove

something is in the tree

Mama and baby
I have only seen one

My Dahlia is acting like it is on steroids
It is huge for June
and ready to bloom
there is a bug in there?!

the other one is not as large but is ready to burst open too

this one is pink and yellow

It is warm and I think Boots has the right idea

just hang out and relax

Happy Sunday

Ann

  1. Ann,
Your florals are gorgeous, dear one!!!
I adore the photo of the Mourning Dove. ..especially atop the nest! We have a pair here on the Prairie which "Mr. Ed" has affectionaley named 'Maude & Claude' (my Bonnie & Clyde was vetoed!)
The pink on the porch is breathtaking, indeed!!!
Something about flowers near the time they burst open that always brings a sense of excitement to the Garden, dear one!
Thank you for sharing these photos with us!!!
    Fondly,
    Pat

  2. Oh my Ann, that hydrangea has me drooling! It is beautiful, just like the other parts of your yard that I have seen. I think my hydrangea's are getting too much sun?? Mine look nothing like yours, and I mean nothing! Your neighbor hood looks so pretty and peaceful.

I want to relax just like the kitty too!

Thanks so much for stopping by.

  10. Hi Ann,
What beauty there is surrounding your lovely front porch. Your hydrangea is just gorgeous! I need to get one of those but I don't seem to have the right spot for one (my first one didn't like its spot and died!).
The dove is so sweet on her little nest. And I like the little lady bug in the flower too.
    Have a sentimental day!

  15. Oh my Ann, simply gorgeous! Nikko's do not do well here. :( Have a limelight and a couple others that I love, but they don't put on a show like that. Your garden is gorgeous and I love the pic of the mama dove. Hope you get a peek at the babies. Would love if you linked this to SYC.
    hugs,
    Jann
