A few months ago when I posted about the auction I attended and stuffed my car, some of you said I needed a bigger car other than my convertible.
I had no desire for a new car.....I loved my baby
she still looked good for being 9 years old and 110,000 miles, I still got frequent complements AND she was paid for!
Isn't she pretty
WELL...................
Don't you hate the words "electrical problem, minimum cost $1700!!
With some tears, yes the dealership probably thought I was a crazy lady. I have a new friend, a larger 4 door friend. I feel like an old lady driving it.
My Mother in law can get in and out easy, now I can take people with me and the best part.....
it has a "Soprano trunk" my husband calls it, big enough for bodies!! So I have plenty of trunk space for the next auction....just a very empty pocketbook!
So my new friend and I are off to 1515. I am sure we will become close friends, but I do miss my old friend, wonder where she is............
Have a great day!
I know how you feel-I would keep a car till the wheels fell off! I hate getting used to something new.
ReplyDeleteWelp, when they have to go, they have to go and I cry, too.
ReplyDeleteBut...I love your new baby. So cool and I love the color.
That's not a little old lady car- that's a cruisin' the strip car.
A perfect rummaging car, sale car and haul your buddies out to lunch car.
Have a great day and don't forget your sun glasses.
I don't think it's an old lady car. She's beautiful! Congrats!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty new friend. She is just a beauty. Lucky you :)
ReplyDeleteI miss my old 'friend' too! But, I did let go and sad to say, I have adjusted to my new wheels. Time will help...
ReplyDeleteI would miss that snazzy convertible BMW too! But your new wheels will hold so many treasures, you will love it I'm sure! I keep telling hubby that I need to get a big ol' suv so that I have more room to haul thrifting loot!!
