Who Will Be Gathered Around Your Thanksgiving Day Table?

In some years past we have hosted Thanksgiving for Mr.'s family

Using my Grandmothers Johnson Brothers China, decorating the dining room.
This year we are doing something different.
I can never get my brother to come over with my husbands family.
Since it is just my brother and I, I always want to see him.
So we are going to Maggiano's in St Louis, you can check out the Thanksgiving menu.
Then later to my SIL's who hosts the opposite years from me.

We have a lot to be Thankful for this year.
My husbands business is doing much better, I actually can sleep at night without lying awake at night.
We are both healthy and happy. So are my family members.
I am thinking of those who have challenges, my friend who was just diagnosed with Breast cancer, or my friend whose husband is the last stages of ALS.

So as you gather around the table with those you love, give Thanks.
I will be remember those who are gone.

Thanksgiving 1972 My Mom, Dad, brother, both Grandfathers and My Grandmother. I wish I could go back in a time machine (and take Mr with me)
I can remember Mom cooking and it getting so warm we would have to crack the windows.
I can see her China with the turkey on it in the picture.
This year will be different, but I am still Thankful.

Happy Thanksgiving

When you are with Family...no matter where...that is what counts. Your plans sound like all will be well with everyone. We will travel to HiHoney's sisters this year for the first time in many years. Looking forward to sharing a special day with them. It was so neat to see your Thanksgiving pictures from the past. Lovely table settings and decorations. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Ann,
Love will gather around our Thanksgiving table as it will yours, dear friend! We have so~o~o much to give thanks for each and every day, but I adore Thanksgiving as a day for our Nation to set aside for Thanks!
This ear will mark the 20th year of my MoMa's passing. . .she left us on Thanksgiving Day!
Enjoy your time with family as you lift each blessing to the Lord.
Fondly,
Pat

Ann, What a great photo. All we really want is good health, we just don't realize it until there is a health problem, which then reminds us of what is important. We have much to be thankful for.

Your table setting is beautiful, so love the china.
Enjoy your different Thanksgiving, which will make for a different special memory. :)

Hugs, Pam

Hi Ann. Happy Thanksgiving. I think we will be alone this year. The girls will go to their in-laws. Hubby and been away for over a week working corn harvest. He should be home late tomorrow, so it will be nice to have him all to myself. I did buy a turkey, so maybe I will roast it. Your table looks so lovey; perfect for a feast.

I sincerely hope that you are able to enjoy your Thanksgiving this year, Ann. No matter where you are, or who you are with. You are such a sentimental woman. You deserve loving memories to add to the ones you already have.
Have a happy week, dear lady.
