Happy Halloween 1914 style

I love this picture of my Great Uncle Max and Aunt Esther

Even in 1914 they were celebrating Halloween.
Moonlit night, fortunes told, and a ghost!

Ann, I love that photo too. Wow, people were thin back then for the weights. Hope you are not getting cold weather yet. Although it is forecasted for the Midwest this weekend. xoxo,Susie

Ann, Love the photo, and the journal entry is so interesting. I had to laugh when she listed everyone's weight. Really enjoyed her description of their Halloween fun. Fortunes in milk, I never knew about that trick.

Great share!

Will you have many trick or treaters? I will have very few. Our house sits so far back from the road we are rather off of the beaten path. I very much appreciated the last comment that you left me last week. Yes, we do hold much in common. Rather fun, isn't it? Have a great week end.

I loved this post. That is such a cute picture with the pumpkins. I like the expressions on the pumpkins and the kids.

Fun to read about their Halloween celebration with ghosts and magically appearing milk fortunes.

Happy Halloween!
