Life Can Change in a Instant

My last post was about the wonderful reunion we had.

Remember my cousins the singers
They bring so much joy by writing songs about our families adventures
They are so warm and loving
On the way back to Colorado from Illinois they had a serious car accident outside of  Columbia Mo.

sitting at 1515 I would have no idea a few days later that he would be in critical condition with a rupture aorta and liver damage
dear Judy on the rt. had a punctured lung and rib fx
she is to go to rehab tomorrow

I could not even sleep the night I heard about this
Such a happy time with family ended in such tragedy.
Just 24 hrs prior Bob was elected Vice President of our
Galbreath Mitchell Reunion

Their family has flown in and I spoke to Judy and she wants me to come over after their children have to go back home. Luckily I am only 2 hours away and they are being treated at a wonderful hospital.

Judy is the Choir Director at the Trinity Methodist Church in Denver and Bob
is retired from the service.

Many are praying for them
After everyone left I took them to the cemetery to see where a
"witch" is buried. The witch was married to a distant relative of ours.
I drove them back to the church and we said our good byes.
"love you, be safe going home"

They are strong in their belief
I ask you to pray for them

They really are the dearest two you would ever want to me

I love you Bob and Judy

Keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. My goodness there is just no explaining the how or why of such heart breaking and tragic accidents. Your cousins sound like very strong and faithful folks with many loving family members to help and support them. I hope all goes well for both of them.

Ann, my heart goes out to you and your family over this horrible news about your cousins. We never, never know and don't understand why things like this happens, except it is life. My heartfelt prayers for healing...physically and emotionally...God, I asked divine intervention on your beloved children who need you now. I speak complete physical healing for both of them. Do a miraculous work in there bodies and mind....guide the physicians if surgery is needed..and make their recovery strong. Thank you God, for your mercy is great! By your stripes, they are healed.
Ann, please keep me informed about your cousins....I will keep you in my prayers for peace and strength through this difficult time. Roxie

I hope your cousins are going to be OK. Prayers going up for them. You are so right. One just never knows what tomorrow will bring. We had a reunion of old college friends just a little over a week ago and a few days after we all got back home, one of them ended up in ICU at the hospital. We weren't sure if she was going to live. She's OK for now, but life is fragile. Make sure your family and friends know that you love them.
