Moving Things Around in the Kitchen at 1515

A couple of weeks ago I showed you my Grandmother's Hoosier cabinet that my cousin Donna brought back home again.
So that meant changes things a little in the kitchen.
I love the kitchen at 1515

I have shown this before, the little girl is me with my
Grandfather, cousin Debbie and step Grandmother.
Notice the walls are yellow and there are red and white
gingham checked curtains...I did not remember that.

we had to move the shelf, take out the radio cabinet.
The radio cabinet went to my bedroom, and I am working on that
and will show you an update soon.

moved the shelf and changed what was on it.

When I went back this weekend, I realized how much I liked the new look.
And I have so much more storage space!

Last weekend was more meetings for
The Charleston Riot 150th Anniversary
we finally got our pamphlets and logo done!

Have a great end of the week.

Amazing transformation, dear friend!!!
The white cabinet with the enamel top is identical to one my Mother~in~law had in her kitchen!!!
Love the vintage linens on the table!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!

Oh- It looks so very sweet, Ann. My mother had a yellow kitchen with red/white curtains in the mid 60's. That must have been the "thing". It is bright and cheery!! xo Diana

Dear Ann, the kitchen looks WONDERFUL. What a splendid job you've done. I like the neat idea on the Hoosier for the mincer, I love using a 'proper' mincer but always have difficulty as the worktops are far too deep to accommodate it and I end up with a Heath Robinson contraption attached to a chopping board - I know what simple solution I need to make ;o)
Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your 'new' kitchen :o)

Hi Ann! Oh, how I love it all! The kitchen is so charming and cute and I spy the PYREX! Oh, my Lord! Is that the Friendship pattern I see? I want some of that. I know, I'm on a kick of pinning loads of Pyrex on Pinterest.
Be a sweetie and I always love it when you visit.
