"Oh What a Beautiful Morning....Oh What a Beautiful Day"

When Greta got me up at this morning
as I came down the stairs
I saw something that put a smile on my face!
I can see a pansy on my window sill
It was almost a surprise!
I planted yesterday

Today is beautiful and Mr. and I have worked
in the front yard cleaning out the beds, and
sipping tea on the front porch

the spring air has Boots hanging loose

Beds cleaned, Mr. working on our front door screen.
Guess he better work on the lattice work next.

yipee!
My yellow peony I bought at the end of the season
last year is peeking up, can't wait!

funny to see the hosta up

but..
My Daffodils have not bloomed yet?

love the sweet faces I planted

over wintered some begonia's and geraniums and
brought them out.

Soon Mr. can bring my hanging geraniums and ferns from
his shop where he winters them for me.
And my Grandma's planter boxes with the geraniums.

My Tetee daffodil's are blooming

a bouquet for Tete from
hope your feeling better

Hope your Sunday was as beautiful as mine.

Ann,
Spring cleaning on the exterior is looking good, dear friend!!!
Love the photo of Boots!!! Told "Mr.Ed" yesterday...all this "fresh air" is wearing me out! (Move over Boots, make room for one more cat napper!)
No sign of our hostas yet, but we look often! The ornamental plum tree and the forsythia are blooming! Rain is forecasted for most of the week, I say... bring on those April Showers!!! :)
Fondly,
Pat

Spring always bring with it repairs, but it is so much fun working outside in the fresh air, after being cooped up all winter. Who mines the work, right :)
Spring is finally showing her head around our neck of the woods, too.
Have a great week.
Your blogging sister, Connie.
P.S. I have a link on my present post, to visit my husband's blog and his $25 Amazon gift card give-a-way . . . come put your name in the hat:)

Your flowers are so pretty, Ann! Pansies are one of my very favorites, they are so cheery, I think. Your season is ahead of ours, we don't have anything in bloom yet. I am so ready for spring, and for picking bouquets of blooms. Have a great week.

Didn't it feel good to get out and get to work in the garden! I pruned roses which had already have signs of life, so they didn't get radical pruning. No daffodils here yet, but any minute. It is still very dry here with a huge storm on its way. Yeah right. 6-14 inches for us. Sure. Our peonies are just poking through, too. We will have lots to chat about. Have a good week, Ann.

Ann, That yard work is tough at times. Winter takes it toll on our homes. I have lots of painting to do , to give my lawn art new looks. I love your pansies. xoxo,Susie

Your pansies are just beautiful. I love their little faces, too. I am planning on getting some pansies to plant real soon. I'm wondering if we are going to go into a suddenly hot spring. The only thing I have blooming in the yard yet are a few of the crocus that I planted almost too late, and they look like miniature crocus, really tiny.

Your flowers are lovely. Spring cleaning is on our agenda... and it may stay there well into summer!
