Election Day is Here

Finally...
The end of the multiple phone calls a day.
The end of the mailbox being filled with fliers.

Please vote, it is your right that many
men and women fought so hard for.

luckily my Great Grandfather won the election
in 1926.
No phone calls
No slick fliers
Just a little business card and
a handshake no doubt.

NOW GO VOTE!

They made sure we had the right.

Your 'Go Vote' post is the most meaningful Political Ad I've seen this entire year!

The Candidates could learn a thing or two from you.

How wonderful that you have your Great Grandfathers card. I love it!!! The Revolutionary War Marker is very RARE...I've seen Civil War Markers. Thanks for showing it.

I VOTED early!!!!

Thanks for the reminder. . .I did vote, dear friend!!!Thanks for stopping by today with your sweet comment. I always enjoy your visits!!! I ordered a Ralph Lauren quilt from the internet...I'm crossing my fingers it is just what I hope it will be!!! "Mr. Ed" finished the painting of the Master Bedroom today...Master Bath tomorrow. Should have photos to post soon as the new quilt arrives!

I wonder how many people really see voting the way you described....the ones before us who gave their freedom for us to be free and have this freedom to vote. They are not teaching history in school like we once learned. I feel bad for the younger generation....most don't get it.

Today is a new day..let America get back to business and let's pray we can survive all that is thrown at us! Those that have gone before us hope they shown us what needs to be accomplished. It needs to go on forever..
