When I do get to go antique hunting, I try to stick to a $20 budget these days.
I guess in a way I am surprised at what I do find!
I am behind on showing you my finds.
A couple of weeks ago I had a day off and ran to a couple of resale shops.
Here are my finds for $20.
Found these Pyrex Spring Blossom refrigerator dishes, marked at $3.99 a piece.
They match my bowls I got as a wedding present years ago.
Did not think I should pass them up since they match!
They were in great shape and I will use them.
No chips in the lids, no scratches on the containers
I have seen many of you find these mugs, when I found this one for $1.99
I figured it deserved a home at 1515.
Yes, another little pitcher to add to my collection. I think it will stay at 1515.
I loved the lilies on the front, the flowers are gorgeous and this little gem
was $4.
I can never pass them up if they are marked under $5
delicate beauty
And then I found this tin for $1.99
It look familiar too
Now I know why...........
Matches the one I have in the utility room at 1515! It was my Grandmothers and
it holds the chalk for the chalkboard door.
So I did not feel to guilty when I passed over a $20 bill for all these things.
And they all will be used!
And one more purchase.
When we went to the Patterson Springs Bed and Breakfast for
our Charleston Riot meeting.
Mr. loves honey and the B&B owner has a beehive at her home.
I bought it because their farm, sits directly next to my ancestors land.
They arrived in 1830, and there is a story in the County History about
my Great Great Grandfather trying to by a beehive off of his
neighbor.
Could these bee........the same hive?
probably not but, it made it more intriguing to buy!

Fun finds and I love the little pitcher! My grandma had the yellow, blue and red ones.
Well, we did get rain here and its cold out this morning. Windows are open and those stupid crows are out in the yard making a racket already!
Think I might need a .22 with bird shot...
Love all of your treasures, especially the pyrex and the pitcher. Great finds. Hugs, Marty
What an amazing haul you got for twenty dollars. Love the Pyrex fridges, and will be looking for a red striped mug, love it.
Don't you just love it when you find great treasures that are not only pretty but useful, too? Love the pyrex!
Great finds! Love the vintage kitchen ware!

Looking at the last picture, I felt as if I could step back in time. Funny the things take can be quietly resting in our minds. Then seeing, hearing, or smelling certain things just wakes up that memory. Smiles, Susie
GREAT finds!!! You got a great deal on all of it too!!!
You got such a good price on your pyrex fridgies! I love the red and white cup. There are 2 of them at a shop in town that I have looked at forever, but that want $5 each! Can't do it!
The Honey looks too cute to open!
Erica :)
Ok....so I have the same pyrex (lil green with flowers on it, and lid) from my childhood. The canister you bought - my mom STILL uses them for her flour and sugar. And my maiden name is Patterson!
I can so relate to this post!
Hi Ann! Oh, look at all of your pretties. You really scored on those darling Pyrex dishes. They're so pricey these days. Your pitcher is just beautiful! Oh, the canister is sweet and now you'll have to find another one so you'll have three! :)
Glad you did so well with just $20!
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
You did really, really good fo $20!!! I love the pretty little vase the best..and what fun to find the other things to match what you already had- xo Diana
LOVE the Pyrex finds! I am looking for more glass containers instead of putting all things in plastic! Don't care for plastic anymore unless I have to! Great prices and the BEST is the GERMANY pitcher! BEAUTIFUL! You had a BLESSED day! From one sweetie to another~~~Roxie
I love the refrigerator boxes that you found! So much nicer than plastic.
A whole lot of goodies for $20 Ann. No you could not pass those fridges up. Love the red and white cup. I have a vintage tin just like that and think it's just too cute. It was given to me by a friend. Love your cute vignette at the end. And yes, your honey will love the honey.
Hugs,
Jann
