A Few Vintage Finds

Vacation is going well, although I have a bad cold....drats!
I had not been out looking for Pyrex for my friends so I drug myself out to see what I could find.
I found one piece of Gooseberry Pink, in good shape just needs a good cleaning and it was marked as Fire King, $4.95!

I went to the auction and did not buy a thing! Nothing!
So I thought I could afford this when I saw it.
I have not bought a new watering can in a long time, seems if I see them, I have them.
Not this one....so my little treat to myself!
sweet little flowers
original price 20 cents! I paid $13

Tuesday was my wedding anniversary, and I am out of town.
So I found this for Mr.
$3, he will love it a butter cutter!

Have been picking peonies and their are bouquets in all the bedrooms for the cousins

Celebrating the twins birthday, for several days!

Putting away some of my vintage finds you have seen

My square Pyrex bowl set

The cousins from Chicago and Indianapolis are arriving this afternoon for the big
"cousins weekend"
Pizza tonight from Paglia's I hope, it is graduation for EIU this weekend
so the town is packed.
Saturday we will have a big cookout I hope on the new deck!

Sorry I have been neglecting reading all your blogs, am missing you
but I run out of time in the day!

Just hope I get to feeling better soon.

Where did you find the dish, Ann? I had a lady at the antique store in Mattoon tell me she sometimes see old stoves at Copper Eagle. Hoping to get there soon and ask them to keep an eye out for the Flair for me!
Feel better and eat a slice of Pagliai's for me!

You just enjoy your vacation and your cousins. I hope you can get pizza tonight. I am staying away from there for sure. DH is home today! Been planting but my peonies are still not open. They are loaded with flies! OOHHHH!
Love the sunshine now and we have gotten some painting done. Waiting to do another coat and then another and then ta-da time!
Happy Birthday to the twins!
They rock.

Hi Ann! Oh, what a pretty dish. I found three a couple of weeks ago - gooseberry pink is the design, like yours! I love it.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
