Table Top Tuesday For Fall

I finally got some inside fall decorating done. I think only because we have some company tomorrow and then we are hosting Thanksgiving for my husbands family.

So take a look around the dining room.

Using my silver compote as the centerpiece, surrounded by Dollar Tree pumpkins

The buffet

One of my Grandmothers plates

and her teapot, I can still remember her getting out of the cabinet and making a pot of tea for us as we sat at the kitchen table and talked.

My silver pieces
My Grandmothers hutch with vintage Gurley candles

and always postcards scattered around

Spode turkey plates around Grandma's mirror

Tea cup shelf with my fall demitasse cups, a wedding present many years ago.

Glad I got some done, not as well done as I like ...but it will do.

Tomorrow my twin cousins and girlfriend are headed out for a day at Home Goods for our annual shopping day. We spend hours at  Home Goods picking up Christmas items and gifts! A little lunch, trip to Penzeys spices, and Trader Joe's.

Then to top it off dinner out with my husband and brother and sister in law to hear Erin Bode sing at a local restaurant. If you have never heard her you should check her out!

Hi, Thank you for stopping by my blog. That certainly is a beautiful area in NC/TN. I leave my heart each time I go. You did a wonderful job decorating your home. Love the buffet. Your day tomorrow sounds like such a happy time with friends and family and then dinner out with your hubby and good music. Do enjoy all of it. PS Every time I see your header I just smile. So love how you did that little garden house and the flowers/shrubs around the tree remind me so much of my mom's backyard flowers gardens when I was growing up. Blessings,
Lynn

Hi sweet Ann
LOVE your grandmothers hutch and LOVE the decor. LOVE the postcards.
Have fun with the girls. We don't have Trader Joe here in Canada. I WISH. I used to shop at one in AZ. LOVED IT, MISS IT.
Happy fall
