Encaustic Dreams

My Sister in law retired last year, now mind you we are the same age.
I am no where near ready for retirement!
I wondered what on earth she would do with her time.

Well here is the answer......she has a talent that she had
not shared with me before!
She is a wonderful photographer and has taken up
making encaustic painting.

This is my favorite Christmas one she has done.

Apparently this is what she is doing.....
Following her artistic dream!

She has opened a Etsy shop

I think she needs to put some of he photos on their too!
So please stop by and visit my talented sister!

I've never heard of that process, but it is beautiful! I love those sweet little birdies with the sheet music! And I always am excited when someone opens and Etsy shop, I'm headed right over to visit!!

Ann, good for your sister to embrace her beautiful art. I retired, from nursing, at age forty-five, and have been very happily busy. Joe made that happen for me, to save my sanity, and I love him all the more for it. Still a tad crazy though. hugs♥O

Oh my. Your sister's art work is so beautiful. I had to look up the encaustic technique. It is quite unusual and very beautiful. She is quite talented.

That sounds neat! I wouldn't know what to do if I was retired-but I'd like to try it-at least during the holidays for once! Hope things are good with you-Lucky is doing well in our family!
