Pink Blossoms for Pink Saturday

It is October 1st.
My favorite month
the month of my birthday
the month of cool days and crisp nights
and the start of 18 days off of work

But there are still blooms in the garden...fading fast, here is one last look

Sedum I transplanted from my Mom's

The hydrangeas are drying and the pink is fading

The last of the phlox

Still picking Zinnia's and bringing them in for bouquets

Front porch geraniums

Hanging Geranium

My dark pink Mums are ready to pop!

And FINALLY! My pink and yellow dahlia is blooming...so late this year

May your Saturday be filled with plenty of pink blooms

What beautiful pinks you have ... & alas!, they will all be gone soon. I so dread each year when they slip away but know soon they'll be back.

Have a beautiful weekend ~

I love all your pink blossoms, Ann. Our sedum is still blooming and my rose bush is displaying its last set of blooms. Oh and the zinnias are blooming as well. Soon it will be over, sob.

You've still got quite a bit blooming in your garden, and they're all so lovely! I'm tempted to pull everything out of my pots, because it's that time where the squirrels are hiding their nuts and digging up all of the flowers. Instead of letting them drive me nuts, I think I'll just call it a day until Spring!

Ooohhhh, what lovely pinks you shared from your gardens.
I keep checking the window boxes to make sure the verbena and geraniums are still hanging in there.
It won't be long....and it will all be sleeping for a few months.
Glad you shared what is still blooming at your house.
