Vintage Silver

Last weekend I went back to my cousins new shop Forest Road and look what I found
for only $10.

Not in the best shape, but I love the patina of this one and I don't plan on polishing it..OH MY!

Look closer, a H for my last name! Surprised my cousin did not keep it her last name starts with a H?

See the true character of the piece

For now it will hold some candles and sit on top of my bookcase. Now let me go pick some flowers to put in my little pitcher I like to use in the fall.

Happy VTT

That is a gorgeous oval tray! And extra special that it matches your last name! Stop by my blog sometime. I'm having a giveaway at Garden Of Daisies.

Love this tray- have a thing for old silver, too and to find one with an H on it- super.
You need to post more photos of the new shop! If I ever get better so I can go see it for myself and post about it on my blog.

Love the tray for $10. A great find. I wouldn't polish it either. The flowers will look so pretty.

What a beautiful tray. I agree with you, I wouldn't touch the patina either. This is my first time to your blog and love all your vintage finds. I will definitely be back.

What a score, Ann! And it always makes things so special when they're personalized. Love the shape and details too. Oval pieces are so nice for serving as well, High Tea Anyone? ;) tami

I really love old silver, and your piece is grand especially for that price! Your initial makes it even better!

What a cool piece! I once found a hand mirror with Laura on it and I gave it to my friend Laura for Christmas!

PS. I'm working both those weekends. May need to see if I can open up just for you-I'm going to try and be open Sept 20-22 when I'm on vacation again.
