It's So Much More Fun to Get it Out!

Do you feel like me? I hate repacking and putting away my Christmas things. I got the kitchen and living room done right after New Years, BUT I did not seem to want to finish the Dining Room! It requires extra care because of some my vintage Christmas dishes. So I sat here in the living room and stared at it as I cleaned the living room floor to ceiling spotless.

LOOK finally a clean table!

The Silver shoved in a corner of the Buffet...it needs to be cleaned again...Didn't I just do that before Christmas?

Now I need to clean the Dining Room and clean out all the drawers etc. But I needed a little order so...

At least I put something on the table. My Grandmother's American Fostoria candlesticks, my favorite silver piece and some Valentines.

I love this piece I found on one of my trips home, I decorate it for every holiday. In a couple of months it will have a nest and some eggs in it for Easter.

Pinky says "Oh Mom, what's the fuss, come sit with me".

So I am joining Marty at A Stroll Thru Life.

This more the UN table top!!
I'll get it done but this weekend I have to go to 1515 and take down all the Christmas stuff their! UUGGHH

Have a great Tuesday!

I think we are all done on the Christmas stuff. But every time I say that, I find something else! Hope you are done, done there.
Love the candle sticks- always loved that pattern and we sold so much of it at the mall.
I just scored big on big letter post cards last night on ebay! I can't wait for them to get here so I can post them!
Have a fun night!

You have some lovely things!!!

Don't you just love it when the house is clean!!!!

And I love your centerpiece -- I like to use the same thing and change for the season rather than put different things on the table!

Oh you are so sweet to your silver! I am sure my pieces feel so unloved and neglected but I really do like the aged look - I do love that pedestal silver dish of yours- my it is so pretty and it is an amazing piece!

I love all you did for the Valentines display but I'd rather be playing with Pinkie.

I'm so glad I don't put out much-less to take down when I'm so exhausted anyway-but I loved looking at all your pretties-and it's on to Valentines Day!!!!!

Wow! that silver dish is gorgeous!
It took awhile to get all the Christmas stuff put away here too, but am happy to have the house looking clean and bright again.

Wish I had some of your get up and go energy. I have so much I need to clean and get rid of but cannot get into the mood. Perhaps when it is warmer.

It is SO much more fun to take it out! You are absolutely right!
I love Pinkie, with his lovey face and stretching out his friendly foot, as we call it here at our house.
