Wake up to coffee in Grandmothers kitchen

Grandad, Cousin Debbie, Me and Jessie 1968

About this time Saturday morning I will be making 2 of my friends some coffee at what we refer to as 1515. My grandparents house. Going over for a girls weekend and attend a local Broom Corn Festival.

Here is the updated kitchen, I did not even remember it had yellow walls until I found the old picture after I painted.

Here is the kitchen before I "flipped it" and after with cousin Mary in attendance!

This was my first post with a picture which is now one year ago!
So today is my blog anniversary.

It has been wonderful getting to know so many people, and await daily to see their creativity. I really appreciate Robin from Decorating Tennis Girl who got me started!
I have many new friends.........I really am so blessed to know Tete from Beyond the Garden Gate
and to learn how talented my distant cousins wife Rebecca of Ella Mae's Barn Gathering is.

I remember thinking no one read what I had to say, but you did and do and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Mean time my girlfriends and I are off to 1515 for a girls weekend and attend the local Broom Corn festival.

This last week I went the longest without a post. Last week Mr went to 1515 with me and we had a working weekend...he had all cousins doing work around the house. Work has been hectic and long not getting home till 9pm and I am exhausted, to tired to read or post!
When we get there today I can redecorate the newly painted porch

I love the picture! I spotted you right off! Glad to see a before pic of the kitchen. Taylor and I were at the festival today. I found a great flour sifter at one of the stores and Taylor found some vintage tin cannisters! A good day :) I am giving you a shout out on my blog!
Love,
Robin
