At 1515 I couldn't help but paint the master bedroom pink. I love it, reminds me of my pink bedroom growing up....I am just missing my pink rotary phone I use to have!
My Shabby Chic quilt and blanket on the bed.
The nightstand has my 50 cent vintage tablecloth on it.
I am working on a very large piece to put above the bed.
Picture of my Grandma laughing, sitting on the dresser in the her bedroom.
I wonder if she would like her bedroom pink?
Happy Pink Saturday!!
I have never thought of having any room pink. After seeing how cool and pleasant yours looks, I might reconsider. Very pretty.
ReplyDeletejust beautiful! It's not only sweet & shabby but it also looks so welcoming! -diane
ReplyDeleteYour pink bedroom has a very nostalgic feel to it and it reminds me of my grandmother's house but hers was not so finely appointed. I also had a pink bedroom growing up but it was much less delicate than this. It was one of those mod, nearly hot pink rooms. When I wanted to have a pink bedroom, my mom helped me by painting the room. I'm sure she would have rather been doing something else! Not sure I could live in it now though - it surely wasn't as serene as yours!

I grew up in a brown and orange bedroom and a gorgeous pink one would have been my preference! This is so fun and all of your fun touches are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteOur anniversary is in May and I was thinking that I should go to Paris every year for it once our baby is out of the house. He is a senior this next year! I have to go to Bon Marche and Lux. Gardens and picnic there too!
I really love the pink bedroom. Nice blog!
ReplyDeleteI had a pink room growing up, too...and now my Dear Bebe has one. I'm sure it will become purple someday but for now, we get to enjoy the pink!
