Outdoor Wednesday

It seems this week shows the yard still in transition from the spring flowers, to the summer flowers.

The geraniums on the front porch are filling in

Miniature Hollyhocks
The large variety is starting to bud

The Phlox will be blooming in a week or two

All varieties of my hydrangea bushes are loaded. This is my Nikko Blue
My Annabelle hydrangea is doing great, last year the groundhogs chewed it and all that left was sticks! I see no groundhogs this year...maybe they were finally afraid of Heidi?

Endless Summer Hydrangea

Astilbe among the hosta and ferns

New Dawn Climber on the cottage

Picasso Petunia

Time to sit and have some lunch

Have a wonderful Outdoor Wednesday!

  3. I just love your yard. Every time your blog comes up I enjoy seeing your header. That table and chairs is awesome!!! I like them just the way they are and also that cute little white fence piece or gate...not sure what it is but it's good! Beautiful flowers too!

  10. Pretty, pretty, pretty! Ok- the diner on the Square is the White House Cafe- and the one you want is across from Birkey's- used to be Oggie's Diner. Steve and Shirley Parsley bought it and run it now. Haven't been to either one, but hear S&S is the best.
Having a really bad night. Went to bed too early and still feel yucky. Heading back there!

  11. Whew...you must be tired after weeding and taking care of all those flowers. Think I'll sit a spell and we can chat on that nice patio set.

  14. Sigh. My green thumb is just the result of slipping it into a paint can. Your flowers are lovely and the Eiffel Tower - tres chic!

  16. Hello,
I visited your Blog today, and while reading it, I noticed that we like alot of same things. I love roses, especially red. Hummingbirds are my favorite, and I am into genealogy also. Me and my daughters just started a new Blog which also talks about the simple things in life. It will have events that we attend and pictures of the different countries that my daughters have traveled to and things that bring us happiness. We would love it if you would visit us.
