ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little display of vintage Valentines! I love the Hummel girl.
ReplyDeleteHi Ann!
ReplyDeleteI love your valentines! I love german die cut ones and yours are great and I see you have a mechanical one, too- love the calling cards- I have several of those myself.
I have sold almost all of my die cuts except maybe 3 or 4, so I need to start finding some of those again.
It's supposed to get colder than snot tonight- got 7 now and it's supposed to get below 0. But then the warming up begins- there better be crocus under that ice!
on Steel Magnolia- Josh is from here- Chris and I worked at littel fuse together back in the early 90's. We were hired in the same day and became friends right away- her and her brother went to school with Steve and his brother Ray- lived on Pierce next to Morton Park. So she knew my husband. Then I found out that my sister in law dated her brother before her and Raymond were married. It's always a small world.
My oldest, Doug and Josh were in scouts together.
Wes, his dad, is from Hindsboro. After Josh got out of school they moved to Charleston.
Have a great night!
Tete

ReplyDeleteYour valentines are so sweet! I won some vintage postcards last year- well she photocopied them so they are not original but pretty still. I just found them yesterday and cut them out.

ReplyDeleteHi Ann, What a beautiful collection of Valentines, thanks for sharing, I wish I could spot one of those card holders like you have that stands and fans out, you used to be able to find them everywhere and now when looking I don't see a one. Funny how things come and go! Hugs and Blessings Marilou
ReplyDeleteWow, what a gorgeous collection! You have them displayed beautifully. It would be so hard to pick a favorite, but if I had to, it would be that sweet little girl holding the pot of blue flowers!!

these are just wonderful. It's a shame we don't make things like they used to be made. I am not much for Valentine's Day but if we could get great cards like this I might reconsider!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great collection. I don't have any valentines. I just never think of those things until y'all start sharing all your goodies.
ReplyDeleteYou have a beautiful collection, I love it! Your calling cards are beautiful, too. Just for fun, I did a search for vintage valentines on Etsy the other day, I didn't see anything as nice as yours.
