Pink Belleek

I am very blessed to have a wonderful Mother in law, who even though she has 8 children she treats me her daughter. A few years ago she and my father in law downsized from their home to a apartment. She has a very large collection of Belleek that she has bought over the years when they went on trips etc. She was kind enough to want me to have these pieces.

The pieces are so delicate with a sea shell design of pink.
I think the one tea cup is so unusual being the shape of a shell.



I will always treasure them because they came from someone I love very much and of course is responsible for raising my wonderful husband. Thanks Mom!

    Those are beautiful. when we downsized I gave my wedding china to my granddaughter. So much better to give now than later. thanks for visitng my blog. I appreciate your comment.

    My grandmother used to go back to Ireland to see her family and bring back Belleck. It is a wonderful treasure to me too.

    I love the shell design and the way the pink fades into the cream color of the dish. Just exquisite. A beautiful gift to treasure for many years to come. An heirloom to pass down in the family.

    Your Belleek pieces are beautiful! I was at an auction a few weeks ago and there was a large collection of Belleek. I never knew how very expensive it is. What a wonderful MIL you have.
