This brought back some sweet memories of my granny's and mother's garden. We always had fresh veggies when I was little and mother always canned. I never did learn to can! :)Have a blessed Easter.
Shelia ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113079651615955204.post-11967901969618725452015-04-01T08:37:14.673-05:002015-04-01T08:37:14.673-05:00The Garden Spot had a weeping willow when we moved...The Garden Spot had a weeping willow when we moved here. We loved it. The little granddaughters would drag blankets and stuffed animals out underneath it to play house and fairies. It was a sickly tree, so we tried to prune it back to health, as if that would help. We loved it and ignored the oozing from its trunk. Then we had THE WIND that did so much damage. The tree had to come down before it fell down. It was replaced with two cherry trees. Loved your story and your photos. Good memories. annhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01668006270534204954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113079651615955204.post-83327981514782875812015-03-31T10:11:11.331-05:002015-03-31T10:11:11.331-05:00Wait! They are such a fun reminder of our family history! Loved seeing these, especially the garden. Sweet that she tended it so long.

My fav tree was a huge weeping willow whose branches almost hit the ground. We used to run through it as if it was a beaded curtain. Sadly we lost it to a hurricane one year, when it uprooted and crushed the garage. Thanks for feeding my memories Ann! :)Pam~ Virginia Retrohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14282106135779122833noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113079651615955204.post-85906385118781743452015-03-30T20:08:22.239-05:002015-03-30T20:08:22.239-05:00Beautiful vases!
