How wonderful that you have so many things from your Mom. I go through spells of sewing and then not sewing. I love your old Singer. I have my grandmothers- it is a 1903 FREE (brand name) and it has all the parts, too. I can't tell you how many dresses and aprons she produced with that thing. She was still using it in the 1970's when she went to live with my Mom. xo DianaNanaDianahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14298962791700019785noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113079651615955204.post-14530821089811812702012-10-28T12:07:43.259-05:002012-10-28T12:07:43.259-05:00What a lovely post - how wonderful to have so many...What a lovely post - how wonderful to have so many sewing bits and pieces belonging to your family.<br />Liz @ Shortbread & GingerShortbread and Gingerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07356668729131346750noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-113079651615955204.post-56734874765955512482012-10-28T12:01:30.026-05:002012-10-28T12:01:30.026-05:00Your post bought back such lovely memories for me ...Your post bought back such lovely memories for me too Ann. I was taught to sew a straight line on my Nan's treadle Singer sewing machine. I used to have it, but found it difficult to house so my Aunt had it.
